'How I Paint' Series: Nurgle Rotbringers, Blight Guard

Disgusting!! Today I bring you my guide to painting Nurgle Rotbringers, the adopted children of Nurgle. These have always been on my wish list, I finally took the dive and purchased The blight Guard formation, 1 Lord of Plagues, 1 Rotbringer sorcerer and 20 BlightKings (in units of 5). I opted to go with a pale skin for models, as I feel you can achieve a bit more bruised and diseased effects, plus I wanted to try some new skin tone techniques. Here is 'How I Paint' them.

(Note: Unless stated, I always thin my paints with a drop of Vallejo Thinner Medium, you can use water, but the key is make sure paints are thin)

'How I Base' Series: Spring Thaw Theme.

Welcome to the latest basing guide series for Age of Sigmar! I wanted to create a theme for all the Grand Alliance Order units I paint this year. If you follow the blog you will have seen that for the Realm Hoppers event I made a lot of snow based terrain for the Realm of Light Tundras of Shilliax board. I loved doing this and wanted to have an army based in this Realm. I decided what better than to have the Phoenix Temple as the first to be set here. The bases for this army below were all resin bases I got off eBay, they are forest bases.

If again you follow my blog and techniques, you will know, I try and paint everything to be of good quality but quick to do. I try and find the shortcuts (I know ill never be a golden daemon painter), my basing is normally the same approach. Here is How I Base: Snow bases!

Review: Legends of Sigmar, City of Secrets

Welcome to my review of the latest AoS novel from Nick Horth, A Legends of the Age of Sigmar book, City of Secrets. This was in line with the Games Workshop release of Tzeentch and the new Disciples of Tzeentch battle tome. This was one book I could not put down and below is a small review of what I thought.

Miniature Showcase: James Chalmers, Khorne Bloodcrushers

I am joined today by James Chalmers from the Tales of Sigmar podcast, I have been watching the progress of his Khorne Daemon army for Realm Hoppers and really got involved in it. I could have picked any of his units for todays showcase, but i have picked out the Bloodcrushers as it has every aspect of what he has achieved. So without further ado, below is the conversation I had with him.
